Youth dies of Covid-19 in Ludhiana, 5 tested positive

Ludhiana, June 6

Civil Surgeon S.P. Singh stated that a 26-year-old man from Ludhiana district couldn’t fight the battle with Covid-19 and lost his life.

Dr. S.P. Singh said that so far a total of 1,09,957 cases in the entire district and 1,47,679 patients from other districts have been tested positive for Covid-19.

Due to the virus, a total of 2,282 patients in the district and 1,126 patients from other districts or states have died till date, he said.

Today, 12 active cases were found in the district. All patients were monitored and kept in home isolation.

The residents have been asked to take preventive measures and adhere to all safety protocols such as maintaining social distance, wearing masks, and washing hands frequently.
