Quick testing for the masses
The Medriva COVID-19 rapid antigen test is a viral test used to detect COVID-19. These tests are one of the simplest, quickest and cost-effective ways to test yourself for COVID-19. They are also recommended by governments and authorities as a way to mass test populations.
Stay safe and keep COVID at bay
Our COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits are a good solution for point of care and at-home self-testing. Our tests help employers prevent the spread of COVID-19 at the workplace or support children in going back to school after a short isolation period in the case of a COVID-19 infection. The tests can also detect multiple COVID-19 variants like Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Kappa, Mu, Delta, and Omicron.
How does the test work?
Samples are taken by swabbing inside the nose. Once the antigen and antibody react, they produce a visible coloured line. As a procedural control, one coloured line always appears in the control line, indicating the correct sample volume.
Get the results in 15 minutes, indicating whether you’re positive or negative. You can take the test from the comfort of your own home.
Reliably get on with your life
Those uncertain about RATs argue that PCR is much more sensitive, however this can actually backfire when it detects a residual amount of RNA during a waning, non-infectious case of COVID-19.
According to a study by the UK COVID-19 Lateral Flow Oversight Team, RAT sensitivity is usually around 97 percent for contagious cases, even when they are asymptomatic. This means that with rapid testing, those who test positive can reliably know which few days they need to stay at home, while everyone else who tests negative can confidently get on with their lives.
Injections & Infusion Devices
We produce WHO-approved 0.3ml and 0.5ml auto-disabled syringes that are most commonly used for all COVID-19 vaccinations. We estimate our production capacity will exceed 2 billion syringes in 2022.
Each AD syringe contains a fixed dose, which means it can only be filled with the exact amount for one dose of vaccine. A 0.5-mL dose volume and matching AD syringe are used for the administration of most vaccines, including those for many essential childhood immunizations.
Almost 70 countries use AD syringes exclusively for immunization, and 30 countries use them for some immunizations. WHO, UNICEF, and the United Nations Population Fund have recommended the exclusive use of AD syringes since 1999 because they “present the lowest risk of transmission of blood-borne pathogens such as HIV and Hepatitis B”. This is because AD syringe needles cannot be removed or reused.
The MEDVAC Tube Series® family enhances sample quality while helping protect nurses, phlebotomists and other caregivers from costly accidental needle-stick injuries. The brand also helps reduce retests, recollects and instrument downtime to improve lab productivity and workflow.
Medriva is built on protection. We strive to achieve patient health. And we’ll get there using innovation, product development, and the most advanced R&D team.
