COVID-19 immunization doses have been administered to 1,772 people in Azerbaijan in the last 24 hours, according to data provided to News.Az by the Cabinet of Ministers’ operational headquarters on Wednesday.

More than 13.7 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been distributed in Azerbaijan since the start of a vaccination program in January 2021.

The first dose has been provided to over 5.3 million people, while the second dose has been given to over 4.8 million people.

Azerbaijan’s initiatives have allowed almost 3.2 million people to receive a third booster shot.
