KAZINFORM. TASHKENT According to a Kazinform reporter quoting the Uzbek State department, foreigners visiting the Republic of Uzbekistan are free from Coronavirus PCR or convey screening if they can present a current vaccination passports.

If a traveller does not have a immunization passports, they must submit a PCR screening test with a digital Barcode or a clean antigen test.

Neither vaccination documentation nor a negative PCR/antigen lab results are required for kids under the age of 12.

On January 15, 2022, Uzbekistan enacted entrance restrictions to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicrone strain.

On March 16, Uzbek officials relaxed a variety of disinfection requirements at border checks between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
