Turkey canceling entry Covid PCR tests

No more PCR tests required to enter Turkey starting June 1st, says Turkish Ministry of Interior. Travelers no longer need to present a negative COVID-19 test result.

According to a statement made by the Turkish Ministry of Interior, PCR tests for the novel coronavirus disease known as COVID-19 will no longer be necessary to enter Turkey through any of the country's border crossing points effective June 1.

According to a statement issued on June 1st by the Ministry of Health titled "Assessing the Current Situation Regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic," it will no longer be necessary to present a report of a negative PCR test with a negative result up to 72 hours before entry or a negative rapid antigen test taken within up to 48 hours of entry in order to enter the country through any of the country's border crossing points.
