The number of COVID-19 cases in Russia reaches 4,700 daily

According to Trend, citing TASS, the number of COVID-19 cases in Russia increased by 4,700 in one day, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. In relative terms, the rate of increase reached 0.03 percent. 

Up to 2,060 persons in Russia were hospitalized with COVID-19 the day before, a 17.7 percent drop from the day before. The number of hospitalized patients reduced to 45 while growing to 36. Across four different places, the situation remained constant. The previous day, 2,503 persons were brought to hospitals.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Moscow climbed by 368 the previous day, from 370 to 2,769,315, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. In St. Petersburg, COVID-19 instances increased by 293 on the final day, compared to 326 the day before, for a total of 1,528,152.

The number of COVID recoveries in Russia increased by 6,455 in the last day, reaching 17,713,532, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center on Thursday. The percentage of hospitalized patients who have been discharged has risen to 96.7 percent.

The day prior, six thousand seven hundred persons had recovered. The death toll from COVID-19 in Russia has risen by 91 in the last day, to 378,700, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center on Thursday. The previous day, 93 COVID-19 deaths had been reported. According to the crisis center, the average death rate remains at 2.07 percent.
