COVID-19 has been linked to four more deaths, increasing the total number of deaths linked to the virus to 3,916 in Trinidad and Tobago.  According to the Ministry of Health's clinical update on Monday, the most recent COVID-19 fatalities are two elderly women, an elderly man, and a young adult man.

All of the patients had diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, liver disease, and neurological diseases. The overall number of verified cases has grown to 161,435 with the confirmation of 227 additional infections from samples obtained between Thursday and today (Monday).

Currently, there are 9,233 cases of the virus, with 9,025 people being treated at home and 183 in hospitals. There are currently 148,286 recovered patients, including 526 community cases and 22 people who have been discharged from public health facilities. 712,537 people have been fully inoculated, with 158,473 receiving booster doses.
