A virological laboratory has been constructed at the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in Tursunzoda, according to the NIAT “Khovar.”
Residents and clients in Tursunzoda will no longer have to go to Dushanbe, the capital, for virological tests, saving them both time and money.
According to Tursunzoda Mayor’s Spokesman Firuz Kholikov, Mayor Parviz Akramzoda evaluated the virology laboratory’s operations. The city’s Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance was given specific instructions.
According to Mizrob Saidzoda, head of the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in Tursunzoda, the laboratory was equipped with sophisticated virological equipment and staffed by qualified specialists. The ability to identify COVID-19 infection in the human body in a fast and accurate manner is one of the laboratory’s needs.
Hepatitis B and C are also detected and tested in the laboratory in a quick and accurate manner.
