Six New COVID Cases and Ten Recoveries in Azerbaijan

According to Trend, citing the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers' Operational Headquarters, Azerbaijan has detected six new COVID-19 cases, with ten patients recovering.

To date, 792,791 persons have been infected with the coronavirus in the United States, 783,029 have recovered, and 9,713 have died. 49 people are now being treated at specialized hospitals.

In Azerbaijan, 2,112 tests were performed in the last day to reveal the COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of tests undertaken to 6,903,117.

A total of 1,917 people in Azerbaijan were vaccinated against COVID-19 on June 3.

The vaccine was administered to 326 participants in the first dose, 199 in the second, and 1,255 in the third and subsequent doses. 137 citizens were given a booster shot after receiving a positive COVID-19 test result.

To date, 13,730,206 vaccine doses have been administered, with 5,348,845 people getting the first dose, 4,849,599 people getting the second dose, and 3,285,415 people getting the third and subsequent doses.
