Guyana’s latest COVID-19 death was identified on Saturday as a 50-year-old lady from Region Four, Demerara-Mahaica.
The lady died on Friday, June 3, 2022, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health. She had only received a portion of her vaccinations. Her death brings the total number of people killed in the nation to 1,238.
Meanwhile, the government said Monday that 1,362 tests revealed a total of 93 additional COVID-19 cases.
