Parents who want to get their children vaccinated must first consult with the vaccination centres and get an appointment time and date for the vaccination. MSP will send reminders through SMS to the parents whose children are due for their vaccinations well in advance.

According to the portfolio, the time gap between the first and the second dose of the vaccine is 6 weeks and children between the age 5-11 years who have contracted the virus must wait for 90 days (3 months) from the date of being diagnosed Covid positive, or to get the second dose.

In case of children who have had respiratory infections along with the positive diagnosis of Covid-19 the treating pediatric physician must be informed about the case history before administering the vaccine, especially the dose.
