On March 2, 2021, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) commenced a mass COVID-19 mass vaccination. Since its commencement, over 15,206,934 persons have received at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine. 

According to a Monday May 30, 2022 data on GHS dashboard, 6,427,352 individuals (28.1%) of eligible adults are fully vaccinated ever since.

Also, GHS reported that no fewer than 9,798,058 individuals (42.9%) of Ghanaians have received at least one shot of the Covid-19 vaccine. 

Additionally, 580,386 individuals have been given booster shots of the vaccine as reported by the GHS. 

The number of active infections in the country was 44. Out of these number, 14 were new infections.
