According to official data provided on Wednesday, 60.2 million doses of Covid-19 vaccination have been administered in Myanmar as of Tuesday (June 1).

According to the Health Ministry, over 26.65 million people, or 47 percent of the country's 55 million people, had been vaccinated against Covid-19 as of Tuesday, and over 2.11 million people had gotten booster doses.

According to Myanmar's Ministry of Health, 12 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases in the country to 613,348 on Wednesday.

According to the ministry, 7,322 persons were tested for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, with a daily positivity rate of 0.16 percent.

According to the study, the country's Covid-19 death toll stood at 19,434, with no new deaths verified in the last 24 hours.

Five more patients recovered from Covid-19 in Myanmar in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of patients who recovered from Covid-19 in Myanmar to 592,308 on Wednesday.

Myanmar's first Covid-19 instances were discovered in March 2020.
