Malta reported 102 new Covid cases and 104 recoveries from the disease

On Wednesday, 102 newly discovered instances of the coronavirus were announced in Malta. There have been 104 successful recoveries, bringing the total number of known ongoing cases up to 1,387.

According to the information that was made available on the internet by the Superintendence of Public Health, the death toll throughout the country since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 723, despite the fact that no fatalities have been documented in the last 24 hours.

As a result of the decision made by the public officials to scale back the dissemination of information on virus outbreaks in the aftermath of the national election, with daily bulletins on Facebook becoming a thing of the past, the number of patients diagnosed with Covid-19 who are currently being treated in hospitals not being made public.
