It is anticipated that Kuwait would play home to hundreds of freshly hired nurses from India as a gesture aimed at enhancing the country's relationship with Kuwait.

It is anticipated that these nurses would find employment in a variety of private hospitals located around Kuwait in order to bolster the health care sector of the country.

During the height of the COVID-19 epidemic, "the partnership between India and Kuwait in regards to health sector has intensified," the Indian envoy to Kuwait, Sibi George, has been cited as saying by Gulf News. Gulf News said that George's comments were made.

The Indian Consulate in Kuwait is making efforts to raise the overall number of registered nurses working in the country's healthcare system. George is going to have a meeting with authorities from Kuwait to talk about the execution of a  (MoU) on the hiring of Indian workers in the city.
