Vaccination coverage for COVID-19 has been reported to be significant in the South Pacific island countries of Fiji and Samoa.
According to the Samoan Ministry of Health, 92.7 per cent of individuals aged 18 and above have taken two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.
In the island country, first-dose immunisation rates for the population — topped 100%.
