Help for Afganistan

Medical volunteers provide urology examinations, therapy, and surgery in Kabul. Over 120 medical examinations and 36 surgical procedures were conducted, thanks to the assistance of the Afghanistan Islamic Medical Association. Learn how these volunteers help Afghan citizens in need of medical care.

11 medical volunteers from the TKA and the Yeryuz Doktorlar Association performed urology examinations as well as therapy and surgery in Kabul during the week.

One hundred and twenty medical examinations and 36 surgical procedures were carried out.

Afghanistan Islamic Medical Association's assistance allowed the team of volunteers to complete a total of 120 tests and 36 surgical procedures at Al Hayat Hospital in Kabul. They also performed health exams on Afghans who were unable to get medical care because of a lack of funds or technological difficulties.

The medical team shared both theoretical and practical knowledge to Afghan healthcare workers.
