The U.K ships over a million tons of Personal Protective Gear to Libya.

The UK Department of Social Development Care has delivered over 1.2 million units of protective gear to Libya, including isolation gowns, safety goggles, face visors, aprons, and gloves. This generous contribution will help safeguard frontline health workers from COVID-19 and save lives in Libya.

Over 1.2 million units of protective equipment have been supplied to Libya by the UK Department of Social development Care to safeguard frontline health workers from contracting COVID-19 while on the job. 406 000 isolation gowns, 102 600 safety goggles, 100 800 face visors, 63,000 aprons, and 560 000 pairs of gloves are included in this timely delivery.


In the fight against COVID-19, frontline health workers are the foot troops. The COVID-19 outbreak has posed obstacles for health institutions and employees all across the world. As a result of the country's almost decade-long civil war, the health care system has been further weakened. Health care is out of reach for around 6 million Americans.

The generous contribution from the UK Ministry of Health and Social Care will assist safeguard healthcare personnel from the disease and allow them to continue their crucial services providing for their patients' health needs.

It's not done yet with the COVID-19 epidemic. The WHO Representative in Libya, Ms Elizabeth Hoff, claimed that these supplies will save the lives of thousands of vulnerable Libyans.
