The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has cautioned that the world is not paying enough attention to the series' of mass dislocations in Africa, which might lead to starving deaths and prolong hostilities.

According to the NRC, the nations with the largest problems are the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the country of Burkina Faso, the Republic of Cameroon, followed by South Sudan, Mali, Chad, Sudan, Burundi, Nigeria, and Ethiopia (in descending order).

For the only time, all ten of the crises on the Council's annual list are now on the African continent, based on the lack of an adequate global political reaction, media attention, and assistance pledges. These nations like Cameroon will face enormous health problems if the situation does not improve.

According to charity workers and experts, rising gasoline and food prices in Africa have been exacerbated by the Ukraine conflict. W heat imports account for 90% of Africa's $4 billion trade with Russia and over half of Africa's $4.5 billion commerce with Ukraine (AfDB).

The National Research Council (NRC) observed that out of the ten countries on the list, seven have appeared on the list before.

Akinwumi Adesina, head of the African Development Bank (AfDB), warned that the food crisis might destabilise the continent if it is not addressed immediately.
