Additionally, it will consist of 40 critical care patient rooms and 40 general medical or surgical rooms.

This new healthcare facility is a response to the significant need in south Lake County, which has experienced a shortage of physicians in nearly every specialty. The new hospital aims to fill this gap by providing world-class care closer to home. The hospital also promises to bring high-paying healthcare jobs to the community, significantly contributing to the local economy.

AdventHealth's plan to build a hospital campus in Lake Nona is also underway. The organization, already the region's second-largest employer with more than 39,374 employees in Central Florida, is set to further expand its footprint in the healthcare sector.

Future of Healthcare in Minneola

The new Minneola hospital is expected to open in late 2025, bringing in 500 new jobs for residents. Furthermore, it will provide opportunities for contractors, strengthening the local economy. The hospital will also include a helipad for air ambulances, further enhancing its service offerings.

The hospital's construction marks a significant milestone in the journey towards an improved healthcare infrastructure in Minneola. The commitment to the provision of quality and accessible healthcare services is evident through this substantial investment. As the community continues to grow, the AdventHealth Minneola hospital will serve as a beacon of health and wellness for the residents of South Lake County.
