There have been 59 new COVID-19 infections reported by the Health Ministry this week, bringing the total number of cases to 158.

As of Friday, 24 cases were recorded Tuesday, 16 cases were recorded Wednesday, and 19 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours of Thursday.

There were 26 cases in the central part of the country, 29 in the west, and four in the north, according to Fiji's Permanent Secretary for Health James Fong's report.
