The Fijian Government announced that fully vaccinated visitors will no longer be required to produce a COVID-19 pre-departure PCR or Rapid Antigen Test.

This affects all international visitors arriving in Fiji by air or sea. It is consistent with best practise entry requirements in highly vaccinated communities. It will reduce travel costs and make getting to the Pacific Island destination easier.

The rule is now that all visitors aged 16 and up must be fully vaccinated beginning on Sunday, May 1. This change is being implemented as more people around the world become vaccinated, and it is intended to benefit not only international visitors but also Fiji’s local communities.

All international visitors entering Fiji will now only need to meet the entry requirements listed below.

• If you are 16 years old or older, you must be fully vaccinated with a Fiji-approved dose.

• Book an in-country COVID-19 RAT before travelling to Fiji. The examination must be completed within 48 – 72 hours of arrival in Fiji. These can be reserved at www.entrytestfiji.com.

• Have dependable travel insurance that includes COVID-19 coverage.

“This is yet another significant step for Fiji,” said Brent Hill, CEO of Tourism Fiji, “making it easier than ever to travel to our idyllic shores from around the world.” As more countries around the world relaxed their protocols, the Fijian government continued to respond to data and science and moved quickly to make these changes. There has never been a better or easier time to visit Fiji than right now.”
