Egypt is considering collaborating with South Sudan on health issues

Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Egypt's Acting Minister of Health and Population, met with Yolanda Awel, South Sudan's Minister of Health, to discuss continued collaboration to eliminate Hepatitis C in South Sudan.

Discussions at the meeting focused on how to meet the Sudanese health system's needs for detecting and treating hepatitis C patients, whether through test reagents, medicines, or medical devices.
