Easy access to Covid-19 vaccines- the Proposal of Azerbaijan

Ilham Aliyev's proposal to allow equal access to COVID-19 vaccines was well-timed, according to UN General Assembly President Abdulla Shahid, who presided over the 76th session.

"In Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev's effort to ensure equal access to vaccines has been a major factor in the fight against coronavirus. 

Throughout the last 30 years, Azerbaijan has made significant progress in both the UN Security Council and the UN Assembly, " Mr.Shahid explained. He also thanked Azerbaijan for helping to keep the globe “safe and secure”.

As part of the discussion with Non-Aligned Movement youth, he praised the fruitful conclusion and underlined the importance of including youth in addressing global issues.
