The number of COVID-19 cases in India declined somewhat on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, with 2,338 new infections reported in the preceding 24 hours.
There were 2,706 COVID cases recorded yesterday.
As a result, 17,883 active cases have been identified, accounting for 0.04 percent of all infections.
The daily positive rate, which was formerly 0.64 percent, has also dropped. The optimism rate for the week is 0.61 percent.

The death toll has risen to 5,24,630, with 19 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the health ministry.
In the previous 24 hours, India did 3,63,883 COVID tests. To date, 85.04 billion COVID tests have been performed.
Meanwhile, the nationwide immunisation campaign has resulted in the administration of 193.45 crore vaccine doses.
