Dementia session for caregivers in Micronesia to discuss end of life decision making

Tomorrow, caregivers of individuals with dementia in Guam as well as Micronesia will have the chance to learn more about how they may aid their loved ones, especially with decisions that need to be made, at a training session that will take place in both locations.

 The Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program  by the University of Guam School of Health is leading the ongoing online support groups for family caregivers of people with dementia. These online sessions are a part of a broader online support groups for family caregivers of people with dementia.

The meetings of the GWEP support network for dementia are held virtually on Zoom each Wednesday evening as well as Saturday morning, all during the course of the year. Companions, family members, as well as other carers of persons with dementia who have links to  Micronesia and Guam area are eligible to attend the workshops at no cost.
