Decrease in the number of new COVID-19 cases in Romania

Each county's health status will be updated at 13.00 by the Ministry of Health; new illnesses and deaths will also be reported in Romania. A total of 434 new instances of COVID were found after the first 18,078 tests. There was a new fatality reported in the most recent count, bringing the overall death toll from COVID in Romania to 65,664. 

There are currently 615 COVID patients being treated in Romanian hospitals, with 87 of them in Intensive Care for severe forms of the disease. Among the 87 patients admitted to the ICU, 80% had not been vaccinated. There are two fewer minors than the previous day and none at ATI in the total number of hospitalized patients.
