Gesy on-call clinics will begin operating next weekend, according to the operator, Health Insurance Organization (HIO).

Deputy HIO director Athos Tsinontides told national radio that negotiations with the state health services group Okypy have been going well so far and are working toward a final agreement.

There will be an eight-hour Saturday and four-hour Sunday and national holiday service at the clinics, according to a statement from Tsinontides.

Patients at the clinics would have access to a Gesy-registered doctor, he said.
