According to the Cuban newspaper Granma, Cuba as well as the Peoples choices Republic of China simultaneously submitted the very first patent for a vaccination against COVID-19 and the many versions, which can also be useful against a few similar viruses.

Thus according Eduardo Martnez Daz, head of state BioCubaFarma Business Group, the invention was recently introduced at the National World Intellectual Property organization in China. The vaccine is the result of a partnership between the two communist republics' biotechnology industries.
