COVID kills a 71-year-old man, and 138 additional cases are reported in Guyana

Guyana's newest COVID-19 fatality is a 71-year-old completely vaccinated male coming from the East Berbice – Corentyne (Region 6).

The guy died on June 7, according to the Health Ministry, bringing the overall number of fatalities from March 2020 to a whopping 1239. 



The guy received his first booster dosage, according to the government, and his death is the second in June.



Meanwhile, 1, 293 testings yielded 138 additional cases, bringing the total tally of positive cases to 65, 560.



The following areas had new instances:  forty four cases in Region Two,  twenty cases in Region Three, fifty-six Region Four, one case in Region Five, Five cases from Region Six, seven cases from Region Seven, and nine cases from region Ten



The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for Covid has one patient, 27 positive patients are in isolation, and 988 patients are isolated at home. 63,305 persons have completely recovered from the infection so far.
