The number of COVID-19 cases in Russia jumped by 3,801 in a single day, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center, citing Reuters. The annual relative rate of increase reached 0.02 percent.

The previous day, 891 people in Russia were hospitalized with COVID-19, an 11% drop from the day before. Hospitalizations decreased in 47 locations while increasing in 25 others. The situation remained unchanged in 13 regions. A thousand people were taken to hospitals the day before.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Moscow grew by 191 the day before, from 286 to 2,770,378 according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. In St. Petersburg, the number of COVID-19 instances increased by 253 in the last day, bringing the total to 1,529,252.
