According to the most current count, the number of new cases is on the rise, with 491 people infected with coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health will release a new total of coronavirus infections, deaths, and ATI patients at 13.00. After conducting 19,153 fast tests and PCR, 491 additional infections were discovered. In the most recent study, INSP also recorded 6 COVID deaths (4 males and two females), one of which occurred before the reference interval.

 One death was reported among those aged 50 to 59, three among those aged 70 to 79, and two among those aged 80 and more. All of the people that died had comorbidities. Five of the six individuals who died were not vaccinated, while one was. The deceased vaccinated patient was over the age of 80.

 The number of persons hospitalized in health units with COVID-19 is 533, which is 14 fewer than the previous day. The same number of people were admitted to ATI the day before. Among the 76 patients in intensive care units, 61 are unvaccinated.
