In Trinidad and Tobago, another patient with COVID-19 dies

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has confirmed that another individual died as a result of COVID-19. The patient was in his forties and had only one identified comorbidity. The number of people killed by the virus has now grown to 3,917.

Furthermore, 149 other people tested positive for the virus between May 28 and May 30. The virus has infected 161,584 people since the outbreak began.

Seven patients were discharged from public health facilities, and 167 cases were recovered in the community. 148,460 patients have been rehabilitated in total.

747,234 people have been tested at public and private health care facilities. There are currently 184 patients in hospitals, none in step-down facilities, and 9,004 people confined at home.
