Chad lifts all preventative measures against COVID-19
Taking into account the evolution of the epidemic situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe, and particularly in Chad, the CNAL-COVID-19 has informed the country that all the preventative measures are taken to date to ward off the disease, especially social distancing, and mask-wearing, have been lifted across the country.
However, for health care workers in health clinics and hospitals, it is still compulsory to wear a mask. The Government of Chad also urges every citizen to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as a safety measure.
Again, it is not to be forgotten that these protective measures can still be enforced if the situation so demands it, and there is a fresh outbreak of COVID-19 in the Republic of Chad.
