On the Isle of Man, a supplemental dose of the Covid immunization will be made available to residents who are 65 years old or older.

In light of the most recent findings in the field of science, Health Minister Lawrie Hooper has said that the vaccinations would be made available this fall.

Individuals who provide frontline health and care as well as those who have underlying health concerns will also be eligible.

According to Mr. Hooper, the plans may include the provision of influenza vaccination in addition to the booster.

In the interim, he invited anybody who could be qualified for a spring booster, which is something that has been granted to those over the age of 75, to come forward.

During the duration of the TT, the Douglas vaccination hub will be hosting walk-in clinics for anyone who has not yet finished receiving all of their scheduled doses of the vaccine.

According to the most recent data from the Covid monitoring system used by the public health agency, the total number of fatalities caused by the virus on the island is currently 106.
