The most recent assessment report, dated May 14–20, revealed 38 new Covid-19 cases across the country. The prior balance sheet, covering forty employees from May 7 to May 13, showed a decrease. After roughly four thousand five hundred and seventy-seven tests, the thirty-eight instances were discovered.

According to epidemiological statistics, two people have the condition and are in a bad state, compared to six in the previous report. With 32 current cases, the Analamanga region remains the epicenter of the sickness, followed by five additional localities. One such instance can be found in the Diana region. Two reports came from the Atsinanana region, one from the Atsimo Andrefana region, and one from each of the Vatovavy and Boeny regions.

However, no deaths were reported, even though two deaths were mentioned in the previous report. The number of people killed by coronavirus has remained constant at 1,393 since March 2020.
