According to today’s data, there have been 10,191 new cases of Covid-19 reported in New Zealand in the past two days.
The Ministry of Health announced today that a total of 14 more people have died as a result of exposure to Covid.
Hospitalizations for the virus have risen to 371 people, including nine in intensive care.
The numbers from yesterday (the Queen’s Birthday holiday) are included in today’s release.
One person died in Northland, two people died in Auckland, one person died in Waikato, one person died in Taranaki, five people died in Canterbury, and four people died in the Southern region.
Sixty-two people were present, including two who were over the age of 90; two of them were in their 50s.
There were eight men and six women in this group.
