The WHO has registered approximately 4,000 COVID victims in Zambia, including 300 health workers. The figure was announced by Sylvia Masebo, Minister of Health, who also encouraged all medical personnel to get vaccinated.

According to Reuters, slightly more than 10% of the population in the southern African country has had all of their vaccinations. Zambians will receive their first doses in April 2021. Masebo stated that her cabinet intended to restart the vaccination campaign the following week, bringing vaccines to every community.

According to the minister, 22 new COVID 19 cases out of 1,000 and 4 tests were detected in the last 24 hours.
