The Health ministry (Minsa) confirmed 3 more fatalities from covid-19 on Wednesday, May 25, bringing the number to 8,236.

In the region of Panama, the areas with the greatest set of positive cases were Rufina Alfaro, in Saint Miguelito, with 114; PenonomÃ©, in CoclÃ©, with 112; Rafael Diaz, with 112; and Bethania, with 94 occurrences.

According to Minsa, 16,879 tests were done, with a positive rate of 22.7 percent.

There are 29,029 current cases, including 28,779 in seclusion, 250 in hospitals, 211 inwards, and 39 in ICU.
