As of May 22, the Turkish Health Ministry had recorded an increase of 905 confirmed coronavirus infections and five extra deaths as a result.

According to a Ministry of Health infographic, about 1,019 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. 118,852 tests were performed the day before. According to an infographic, as of January 2021, a thorough immunization campaign in Turkey had administered 147,6 million doses.

According to the CDC, more than 57.8 million people have received their first dose of immunization, and more than 53 million have had their full immunization. More than 27.7 million people have now gotten a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
