Corona creeping up on Liechtenstein

Thirty more Liechtenstein residents came back positive again for corona virus within three days. According to the Ministry for Statistics, 14 new infections were discovered on Monday, 15 on Tuesday, and one on Wednesday. There's no Covid 19 patient at the state hospital as of Wednesday evening.

Over the last seven days, a median of 8.9 cases reported each day had been confirmed. There were a median of 12.1 new instances every day in the past seven days.

The corona virus has infected 46 persons, none of whom were admitted to the treatment center as of Wednesday evening.

According to the Office for Statistics, the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic has now reached 17,377 laboratory-confirmed infections. Only 17,247 persons were able to withstand the virus. A total of 84 people have died as a result of laboratory-confirmed Covid 19 illness thus far.

The 7-day incidence is 158 cases per 100,000 people. The 7-day incidence represents the average of the 7-day incidence throughout the course of the year; however, for international comparisons, the risk is extended to 100,000 people.

The 14-day frequency is 374 instances extrapolated. This means that 374 persons out of a population of 100,000 have tested positive in the last 14 days.
