In the midst of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the latter has made the decision to outlaw the supply of any and all pharmaceuticals made in Russia and its ally Belarus.

According to a story that was published in The Kiev Independent, the governing body of Ukraine has recently given its approval to changes that have been made to the legislation of the nation pertaining to pharmaceuticals and medications.

This would effectively constrain and restrict the flow of these imported pharmaceuticals, which were either completely or partially produced by businesses that are headquartered in either Russia or Belarus.

There is no question that this choice will have a negative impact on Ukraine, but the fact that they have made it demonstrates their iron will and their resolve to not back down in the face of overwhelming odds many months into the conflict.
