Armenia inoculates many with its booster shot of COVID 19 vaccine

Armenia has successfully administered follow-up vaccinations against COVID-19, with over 54,000 individuals receiving booster shots. The country has delivered over 2.1 million doses of the vaccine since the immunization campaign began. Over 1 million people in Armenia are now fully vaccinated, with various vaccines, including Sputnik-V, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, and CoronaVac, being administered to adults. The vaccination program in Armenia has been rolled out nationwide, with movable vaccination facilities set up in key areas.

According to the information provided by the Armenian health authorities, 54 415 individuals in the country have got follow-up vaccinations against the coronavirus.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Health of Armenia on Monday (30 May), a total of 2,199,416 shots of said coronavirus vaccine have already been delivered in Armenia since the commencement of the immunisation campaign in the country.

The government reports that there are 1,006,554 persons in the country who have received the complete vaccination, the vast majority of whom are adults.

Vaccines manufactured by Sputnik-V, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, CoronaVac, and Moderna are now being administered to persons in Armenia who are older than 18 years. Midway through the month of April, the vaccination program was rolled out over the entirety of the country, and in the capital city of Yerevan, the authorities in charge of health care also put up movable vaccination facilities near the shopping malls as well as on key avenues.
