Another 29 Covid cases have been reported in French Polynesia.

In the previous 48 hours, there have been 29 Covid-19 instances reported in French Polynesia.

The number of active cases has now reached 50, a figure that has remained fairly stable for many weeks.

According to health officials, there are no more Covid-19 patients in hospitals.

The pandemic has claimed 649 lives, with the majority of deaths occurring during last year’s epidemic with the Delta subtype.

This month, one person died.

Vaccinations have continued, and more than 81 percent of people aged 12 and above have received two doses.

Travel restrictions have been lifted, and most pre-pandemic aviation routes have reopened, with tourism seeing a healthy resurgence.
