After 379 new instances were documented, the total number of on-going Covid-19 cases in Brunei now stands at 2,008 cases.
ART testing was responsible for 377 occurrences, while 196 RT-PCR laboratory tests performed over the previous 24 hours were responsible for two cases.
Brunei had a total of 150,058 Covid-19 occurrences, according to the available numbers.
During a regular press briefing in the capital, Health Minister Dato Seri Setia Dr Mohd Isham Jaafar remarked, "There are no incidents in Category 5 that require treatment in the intensive care unit" (ICU). Two Category 4 cases necessitate oxygen and are being intensively monitored."
In the meantime, 242 additional instances were discovered yesterday, bringing the total number of cases recovered to 147,827.
On Friday, children aged five to eleven received 16 first doses and 71 second doses of the Covid-19 vaccination.
The proportion of first-dose vaccines given to this age group has climbed to 81.8 percent, whereas the proportion of second-dose vaccines given to this age group has increased to 53.4 percent.
Seventy-nine percent of the country's citizens and residents have gotten three doses of the vaccination.
According to Dr Mohd Isham, the Community Isolation Center (CIC) at Temburong District's National Service Programme Training Camp (PKBN) and Brunei COVID-19 Airlab BRIDEX Jerudong (BCAL) would close tomorrow and Wednesday.
