A total of 1,010 new COVID-19 patients were registered on Tuesday

Hanoi - The number of new COVID-19 patients in Vietnam fell on Tuesday. According to the Ministry of Health's most recent statement, the government has confirmed 1,010 new infections, down from 108 from the day before.

With 10,719,379 patients, Vietnam is now ranked 12th out of 227 countries and territories on the planet.

The new transmissions were domestic.

In 40 of the country's 63 provinces and cities, new cases have been reported. There were 696 infections found in the community.

With 251 new cases, Hanoi, the country's capital, took the lead.

Other localities that reported new infections were Yên Bái (78), Quảng Ninh (39), Nghệ An (35), Lào Cai (33), Khánh Hòa (1), Tuyên Quang (28), Thái Nguyên (24), Thái Bình (23), Nam Định (49), Hòa Bình (22), Hải Dương (22), Đà Nẵng (20), Vĩnh Phúc (61), Lâm Đồng (18), Hải Phòng (18), Hà Tĩnh (15), Hà Giang (15), Bắc Kạn (14), Thanh Hóa (13), Quảng Trị (12), Hồ Chí Minh City (32), Quảng Bình (12), Hà Nam (11), Ninh Bình (11), Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu (10), Lạng Sơn (9), Thừa Thiên Huế (8 ), Bắc Giang (7), Sơn La (20), Bình Phước (7), Hưng Yên (6), Cà Mau (4), Cao Bằng (13), Quảng Ngãi (3), Điện Biên (3), Bình Định (2), Đồng Nai (1) and Bến Tre (1), Phú Thọ (59).

There were a total of 5,757 patients who were declared disease-free. The green light has been given to 9,462,298 people so far.

One COVID-19-related mortality was recorded in Bình Dương Province on Tuesday.

Over 221.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccination have been administered across the country, with over 4.3 million doses administered to children aged 5 to 11.
