63 new cases of COVID-19 and 2 related deaths have been reported in Madagascar

Madagascar has detected a coronavirus outbreak, with 63 new cases and two deaths reported between May 21 and May 27. Let’s examine the COVID-19 scenario in Madagascar a little more closely. 

Infections are on the rise

On the Big Island, the number of new coronavirus cases has increased in comparison to previous weeks. There were 38 additional contaminants detected between May 14 and May 20, compared to 63 contaminations discovered between May 21 and May 27.

In the Analamanga region, 52 more instances have been documented. With 52 Covid-19 contaminations, the Analamanga region, which encompasses Antananarivo, had the most. Four cases were detected in the Atsimo-Andrefana region, four more in Boeny territory, two in Alaotra Mangoro, and one in Atsinanana.

COVID-19 has been linked to 1,395 deaths
