Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with S. Kadyrzoda, Head of the Committee on Investment and State Property Administration of the Republic of Tajikistan, while he was in Istanbul from June 7 through June 9, 2022.

During the course of the conference, the participants deliberated over the current state of their bilateral cooperation as well as the opportunities for expanding it. In particular, the chairman of the Tajikistan delegation, Kadyrzoda, mentioned that during the course of the previous six years, significant and favorable developments have taken place in the relations between the two nations.

It was proposed by the Ministry of Innovative Development that the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine, which had been created jointly by scientists from Uzbekistan and China, should be registered in the Republic of Tajikistan. Following the completion of the registration process for the vaccine, it is anticipated that the Uzbek side, along with its partners, will ship 500,000 dosages of the vaccine.

Following the meeting, an agreement was struck between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan regarding the exchange of experiences in the fields of entrepreneurship development and start-up ventures.
