4,477 new Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore, more than double that of Monday

Over 4,000 new Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore, more than double the previous day's count. A decrease compared to the previous Tuesday, but still higher due to increased public activity.

As of Tuesday (Jun 7), Singapore had more than twice as many new cases of Covid-19 as it had on Monday (2,162).

Compared to the last Tuesday, when the number of cases was 4985, this Tuesday saw a decrease in cases.

Because more people are out in public, the number of cases on Tuesdays tends to be higher than the rest of the week.

The infection ratio rose to 0.87 on Tuesday from 0.86 the week before.

On Tuesday, the ratio was 0.82.
