According to statistics that were issued by the government on Tuesday (the 7th of June), there has been an increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Monaco.
The occurrence rate increased from 148 per 100,000 one week before to 347 per 100,000 as of Sunday, June 5. This increase took place over the course of seven days.
At Princess Grace Hospital on Tuesday evening, ten individuals were being treated for symptoms related to the coronavirus. Five of these patients were residents of the hospital.
During the course of the last week, only 58 new instances were recorded; however, the number of individuals who were experiencing only minor symptoms and were healing at home more than doubled to 88.
